The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for driving placement-related activities, maintaining employer relations, and ensuring smooth execution of placement operations.
1. Candidate & Recruiter Engagement
Record 1 student video testimonial and 1 recruiter video testimonial (per month).
Capture 5+ photos per drive (geo-tagged + normal) and upload to shared drive.
Ensure smooth candidate onboarding and tracking through Rojgar Mantra and other portals.
2. Placement Activities
Conduct minimum 2 placement drives (as per NSDC format) with proper event reports and attendance sheets.
Facilitate recruitments as per project KPIs and reflect data in trackers.
Support in planning and execution of Rojgar Melas, HR conclaves, and campus connect activities.
3. Employer Connect & Business Development
Make 4 HR/recruiter office visits with geo-tagged proof.
Maintain logs of old clients contacted and new clients approached (calls/meetings/emails).
Send 10 email proposals with follow-ups every month.
Secure 2 non-commercial MoUs and work toward commercial MoU signings with employers.
Onboard new employers in Rojgar Mantra portal and track job postings.
4. Project & Reporting
Update internal hiring tracker and openings tracker regularly.
Maintain an updated active projects tracker (placement linked).
Share next month Rojgar Mela/drive date plan.
Upload placement data to portals (first half) and update presentations (second half).
Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
5. Rojgar Mantra Portal Activities
Post new jobs, onboard new candidates, and activate/increase engagement of Rojgar Mantra centers.
Maintain accurate reports and confirmations for all data uploaded.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong communication skills in Tamil & English (Hindi preferred).
Networking and relationship-building with employers and recruiters.
Knowledge of placement/HR processes and skilling ecosystem.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and online portals.
Ability to meet defined KRAs within strict timelines.
Willingness to travel within the state for drives and client meetings.
